KNOW THE TRUTH
101 Christianity was developed to provide simple resources about basic Christian truths clear and accessible for all. People can attend church and Bible studies for years and never be taught the simple building blocks of the faith. This can make studying the Bible challenging and confusing. When core principles are in place, it gives the Bible context and application, helping make sense of the big picture of Scripture. This provides a necessary framework as we grow as Christians. SHARE THE TRUTH
Christians who are more mature in their faith are familiar with the Great Commission in Matthew 28:16-20. This command, given by Jesus before ascending to heaven, calls ALL believers to make disciples. This means that every follower of Christ is entrusted with sharing the Gospel and truths from Scripture with those who do not yet know it. This command is often intimidating, making it easy to feel either guilt or that this is best left to the professionals (e.g. church staff members/ministry professionals). This was not the intent of this command. Armed with Scripture and the indwelling Holy Spirit EVERY believer can pass on what they know to others; however, so often we don’t have a good starting point to share the truth we know.
